This event is one part of a three-part series hosted by Metropolitan Planning Council and Equiticity, in partnership with neighborhood organizations. Each tour features 5-7 destinations that highlight key neighborhood catalysts and assets. Tour routes were designed in collaboration to balance diversity of destinations and general walkability. As a community mobility ritual, these tours are meant to provide the opportunity for an intimate setting for any community member or visitor to North Lawndale to connect through movement. Tours are limited to a reasonable size and participants are encouraged to get to know others on the tour.
This tour is rain or shine, so please dress accordingly. Cancellations will take place only in the case of severe weather. Cancellations will be communicated by email to all registrants by 8am the morning of the event.
