ABOUT BWSJ:

Black Wall Street Journey (BWSJ) is the companion project of the Greenwood Art

Project in Tulsa, Oklahoma, established after the 1921 Tulsa Riot Commission invited

artist and MacArthur Fellow, Rick Lowe, to officially incorporate an arts and cultural

component to the 2021 Centennial. BWSJ is inspired by the tragedy and triumph of

the Greenwood neighborhood in Tulsa.
